Engage in Role Play Using Your Characters

Discord Roleplaying

Roleplay is a team sport! Big story moments should be talked through with the group or GM. No lone wolves hijacking the plot or tossing in surprise dragons (unless it’s a group-approved surprise dragon). Character choices help shape the world but shouldn’t completely knock the story off the rails.

Respect the GM. If there’s a GM, they’re the pilot of this crazy airship, so respect their final say. And hey, don’t forget the magic of out-of-game roleplay! Campfire chats, love letters, awkward marketplace meetups. These moments make the world feel real and your characters unforgettable.

Stay awesome, not overpowered. No godmodding (controlling others without permission), and no metagaming (your character isn’t psychic just because you read the monster manual). Make bold choices, but remember: reckless actions will get realistic (and sometimes hilarious) consequences!

How Does This Work?

Player Interaction

Players interact with others on the server, leveraging their unique personalities, backgrounds, and abilities in diverse scenarios. This happens in dedicated Discord channels, where players describe their characters’ actions, dialogues, and responses to different situations and characters.

Scenario Setup

DMs create engaging scenarios as the backdrop for player interactions and are carefully designed to incorporate the characters' backgrounds and objectives, providing a rich context that enhances the role-playing experience.

Tracking and Rewards

A Discord bot tracks all weekly out-of-game role-play activities, updating a leaderboard that reflects player standings and rewards based on their interactions. This system ensures continuous engagement and progression for players.
