The Reputation 2025 system lets players spend Downtime Tokens (DT) to gain powerful social perks and influence the world around them. Players choose benefits across four ranks, with selection rules that limit how many perks can come from the same category to keep character growth balanced and flexible.
Early ranks offer practical bonuses like merchant discounts, better information gathering, social advantages with townsfolk, and guaranteed safe lodging. As players invest further, higher ranks unlock greater power, including political leverage over officials, elite access to rare goods, automatic social successes, and the ability to operate covert spy networks.
Each perk creates new roleplay opportunities outside of combat, allowing characters to grow into respected leaders, master merchants, cunning spies, or influential nobles. Reputation gives players meaningful ways to leave their mark on the world through charm, wit, and clever alliances.
